I enjoy creating on silk. It is a mystery to me as to how the dyes merge with the silk fibers adding different dimensions and images to the final product. I am always left with a sense of wonderment, and surprise.

I created the painting of the Twin Towers in New York City, after the September 11, 2001 tragedy. I had seen a photo in the Times Magazine of this horrific event about two weeks after the event.
