Inspired by vintage fabric I received in an exchange with another fiber artist. The fabric was cut into strips and spun in along with carded wool and silk, novelty yarn bits and felted peices. I plied with vintage pink thread and glass beads.

This yarn was made from recycled fabric scraps from a local quilt shop. The owner saves the scraps for me and I in turn shred them into strips and spin them into yarn.

Glad that you joined us. And thanks for adding the group DIY in the Last Frontier. I've never been to Alaska, but my Dad always talked about moving there. Love your yarn - it is so colorful. I will have to add to my wish list.
