About Me:
Laurie Beggin had a long career in the legal field. She served as a Deputy Circuit Clerk, States Attorney Juvenile Division Director, and a Legislative Assistant to a senator and representative in the state of Wisconsin. Following her run in politics, she moved into the Real Estate arena in Central Illinois. After her 25 years of working as a professional she decided it was time to take on other challenges. She became a Master Gardner, a Certified Herbologist through the East West Herb Courses, and a Stained Glass Commissioner.
was created in response to Laurie's growing love of the art of stained glass. She began her venture by creating commissioned pieces for friends and family members who kept them to display in their homes or businesses or gave them as gifts for weddings - birthdays - sports fans - and more!
She works from her studio at the Olde Farm House where she enjoys hours of pleasure delving into the stained glass medium.

I will have to try and catch an episode of Crafts in America - if you have some tips on the Tiffany Method and would like to share them I'm sure there are lots that would be interested. Just post them on your page in the blog section. all blog entries show up on the home page...it feeds the latest blog entries. We are also asking people to take photos of their favorite places to shop in their city or town and then upload them here and include a little info about them.
A farmhouse on a prairie, sounds good to me!
