Hi Everyone.. I'm Dianne from Toronto, Canada. I've been big into recycle, compost, re-use for years. My newest jewelry line "Vintage Made Modern" is using vintage parts, I'm so inspired these days I can't contain myself :) Our composting program here in TO started about 2 years ago, that coupled with our recycling program (we've had for years), I have hardly any garbage - love that!

I just joined and wanted to introduce myself - I've been making jewelry ,green office products, and decorative items such as clocks , picture frames and light switch plates from recycled circuit boards since the early 1990's. Hi! I'm Sherry from Tennessee. I love to re-create jewelry from broken and unwanted vintage pieces. I also love to use vintage textiles and yarns to create clothing and crocheted items. I especially love making hats. I have been a vintage clothing dealer a long time and often re-make vintage pieces that can't be saved to wear as is. Or make something completely new with them! Anyway, I just love giving new life to something that has fulfilled it's purpose.

Hello All. I love to reuse, recycle, redo, whatever you want to call it materials. From clothing to broken jewelry, keys I use. Glad to be apart of grop that does the same.

Hi, I'm eddy from Northeastern Kansas. I'm a wonderful pack rat from way back. I recycle or repurpose or whatever you want to call it whenever I can. In fact, some people I know bypass taking things to the thrift shops and bring them directly to me!

hey all! i'm geri - from chilton, wisconsin (hi kim!). i love to collect and reuse vintage textiles/trims to create funky one of a kind clothing (gajettes.com). i am a mom to two (well three actually, but that's a long story) beautiful and creative children and have been married to my hubby j for nearly 13 years! we all live in chilton, wisconsin a small rural community in east central wisconsin. i love to create and have done so my whole life - i need it to make me healthy and happy. Hello lovelies!
I've always thought of myself as a pack rat because I save most if not all of my scraps from my crafts and such. But then recently I realized that I make about 85% of my jewelry out of found and recycled stuff! That made me happy. I hate to throw things away that would be a possible project in the future.

I'm Trish. I am an indie fashion designer in Chester CT. My line is MerGirl...I co-founded smashingdarling.com...I have a big beautiful mastiff named Fenway, and a 20 lb cat named Ziggy (as in Marly)
I always have scraps at the end of my design table so if anyone makes small things and are interested in scraps let me know. I will send them out. I never throw them away. Nice to meet everyone!

This is a perfect group for me because I reuse everything. I should actually be in a 12 step program, it's almost a serious problem. LOL

I will be a bit of a slacker for the next couple of weeks because of work, but will be happy to participate after that.
